The late Ben Kern was an important mentor to Core's Tom Jackson, Jeff Hay and Sean Foley.
It was wonderful to hear that Ben will be inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame on June 10, 2010, along with Graham Cooke and Brent Franklin.
Ben was a tremendous person, a great player and Canada's greatest junior instructor in the 1990s. Ben was a major influence on Tom, Jeff and Sean, and Core's standards for excellence can be directly lied to Ben who was the consummate club professional at both The National Golf Club of Canada and at Devil's Pulpit in Toronto.
