Core congratulates Justin Rose... and Sean Foley

Justin Rose looked so strong going down the stretch at the Memorial that Kate Foley found a magazine more interesting.

Justin has been working with Sean Foley, Core Golf's PGA Tour coach, for 11 months and he swung with complete confidence in winning the Memorial on Sunday.

The 29-year-old Englishman came from four shots behind third-round leader Rickie Fowler by shooting a 66, and he closed like a champion in winning his first PGA Tour event in 162 tries. He has won six international events and the 2007 European Tour Order of Merit.

As Justin was playing the closing holes, Kate was so assured he'd win that she stopped watching and went outside with a magazine, Sean told cbsports.com.

It was an exciting day for the Foley's. Sean O'Hair was playing in the same group with Justin--second to last--and their great swings drew plenty of complements from CBS golf analysts and tournament host Jack Nicklaus.

"Your golf swing right now, it can't get any better," the great man told Justin. "His swing this week, I thought was fantastic. He never made any mistakes."

Justin told The New York Times that he has been playing better in the wind since he began working with Sean at the AT&T National last year.

“I think the changes that I’ve made with Sean Foley have enabled me to be a much better wind player,” Justin said.
